Life around here :)

My brother told B the other day on FaceTime that he would be here for Christmas, which is just around the corner...  Just around the corner? He's right...Christmas will be here before we know it! Time has flown since Q-man (B's nickname for Quade ;) ) has arrived to say the least!

Here are a few pics to show what has been going on around here (sorry...they are kind of out of order, but too busy to rearrange (the life of a mother of two...I guess ;) ):

Q-man :)

Love his expressions :)

The day we came home from the hospital...Rossy seems to be the only one happy to be home ;)

Got rid of the white car...not so bad on this side

After being hit twice on the other side.... B cried when the people bought it ;)

The pumpkin patch :)

The zoo with Grandpa Don and Grandma Joyce :)

She kept kissing the pumpkins :)

Loves her Nini  :)

The only pic with all three kids :)

Being silly :)

Loved having a visit from Colleen!

She's is in love with her Q-man...not quite sure what he thinks of her just yet... ;)

Daddy's boy :)

Excited to be potty trained! (So are Ross and I :))

Dress up (deciding what to do be for Halloween ;) )

I'm in love with these two!

Can't help but smile :)

Trying out different DIY projects :)

Visited the Yentes' (wish we would have taken pics while there....next time for sure!)

melts my heart....

What a 3 month old does at the pumpkin patch ;)

"Hey! I did more than just lie around in this thing!"
(He was actually out of the stroller majority of the time and loved it!)

Happy 4th of July! :)

We hope everyone had an awesome time celebrating our amazing country and all the blessings we have as Americans! :)

The "cheese" face :)

The Waukee 4th of July parade tradition for the Owens Family :)

Happy 4th with Nini and Gaggy :)

One of the very few pics I got with B and she is actually smiling ;)

Showin' off the "cheese"!

B doesn't do fireworks, so this is about as close as we got to something "exploding" ;)

She didn't leave Gaggy's side the whole parade :)

She loves him....

Ross practicing the "cheese" face ;)

Love her...

Daddy's girl :)

It has been an amazing thing to watch the relationship between Ross and Blakes grow! They both share a love that makes me want to cry with tears of joy all the time and I am so very thankful for God blessing our family with that kind of love!

One of the ways Ross shows his love is building/making things for others, and when his oldest sister asked him to build a picnic table for her children he instantly asked if it was okay to build B one too. :)  Here are a few pics to not only show the table, but the crazy and joyful love these two have for one another... :)

Love :)

Silly daddy... ;)

Okay, enough, dad....you're crazy!

Alright, I guess I'll pose with you too, daddy :)

Mom, tell dad to stop!

"CHEEESSEEEE!" (this face seems to be made by her every time a camera comes out...)

love her :)

I know there is a precious smile behind that cup! :)
