Weekends :)

There's no denying how much we love weekends, especially Blakely and I because Daddy is around much more! Friday, we took the night "off" from unpacking, organizing, homework, etc. and made homemade pizza and walked to the park. Saturday, we had to transfer a few more things from our old house to our new house with Frama and Papa. Of course, we spent time chatting with the new renters and realized how much fun our old house really was!

Then, we came home and organized the garage and more of the house. Saturday night, we went to Waukee to return my dad's trailer we borrowed and to hang out with Nini, Granddaddy, Jess, and Carmen. It was a blast! My dad LOVED having the girls over and I think they enjoyed being "thrown" on the couch, chased, and fed a ton of fun foods as well! :)

Today, we started the church "shopping" process and attended one in town. As we walked in we realized there were quite a few people from college that attend the church, so it was nice to see them. Then, we met Ross's grandparents for lunch and had them over afterwards. It was really nice to visit. We ended the day going to the free wading pool and hanging out with Aunt Kel and cousin Shaye. (They stopped by after hanging out with one of her friends. :) ) All-in-all it was a wonderful weekend! :)

One week :)

Can't believe it's been a week already since we started the moving process! We have been so blessed and have really enjoyed getting to know all of the new things about living here! Just a few pics to show what we've been upto :)

New House!!

Thanks to all of our family, Sarah and Ward we moved all of our stuff from storage to our new house Friday night! We are definitely blessed! Saturday we didn't do much unpacking due to sleeping in and going to a friend's wedding open house in Winterset, but Sunday we hit unpacking hard! Every box is unpacked inside the house...this weekend the plan is to unpack all of the stuff in the garage. :)

With class three times a week, I feel as though I get very little time to do anything but hang with Miss B, which I love, but I think that means getting the house organized and decorated may take longer than we expected. I have to be honest, I'm really, REALLY looking forward to July 2nd when all of my classes are done! 

Although there are times I feel extremely overwhelmed God has provided so many blessings and fun times that help me realize how much control He has and how I need to stop and enjoy these moments! :)
